AMORE

About Amore

Slotland’s Amore is loosely themed on Romeo and Juliet, and it shows. You have got a young charmer with a rose, a gorgeous “damsel”  who needs wooing, and plenty of heart potions, lyres, and roses to boot. The Renaissance-era slot is quite well-drawn, although the overlapping symbols may irritate some. Amore is played over a conventional 5-reel, 30-line set-up. However, there is nothing conventional about the wagering range, which stretches from 0.60 up to 750.00 a spin in this game. On the upside, you can win up to 125,000 coins in this non-progressive slot, and that is not bad given the huge cost. The volatility is set to relatively low, so the game is suitable for most players if they can get over the costly minimum stakes. There is one more bit of bad news. Slotland are the developers of this game, and this means that you are only really going to be able to find this slot at Slotland’s own online gaming portal and few other casinos.

Special Features

Slotland has seen fit to include a wild symbol in this game, and that shows up as a lady holding a bird. It can replace any standard paying symbols but not scatters, as you would expect in most video slots. This will make winning a touch easier.

Scatters appear as the man and woman together. They are holding up masquerade ball masks if that helps. These scatter symbols can appear anywhere on the screen, and you are going to need at least three of them to spring up if you want to trigger the slot’s bonus round. That free spin bonus is considerably extensive, which is just as well because, without it, Amore would be a touch dull.

Bonus Feature

Assuming you can land at least three of the masquerade ball-style scatters on the reels, then you will be rewarded with a total of five free spins. Here, you will get a 1x multiplier. However, a Pick Me bonus round will commence first, where you can have four, six or nine picks at symbols if you landed three, four or five scattered couple icons. Those picks could reward you with added spins or better multipliers. This free spin bonus round will up the ante in Amore and turn the game from a relatively basic slot into a moderately enjoyable one.
