Genie's Hi Lo is a card game from Playtech which may seem similar to several other games, but actually has several unique features. The game is played on a brightly coloured screen that features a bejeweled woman, presumably the genie, holding a dozen playing cards in her hand.

Genie's Hi Lo is easy to play. You begin by setting the amount of your bet with the plus and minus buttons. When you're ready, you push the Confirm button to place your wager. You will then be able to pick one of the cards the genie is holding, or you can click the autopick button and it will be chosen for you. Keep in mind that Aces are always low. Also remember that all ties lose.

Special Features

After the first card appears, you will be given a choice of bets. You're trying to predict whether the next card will be higher or lower or red or black. The odds on the hi and low choices are varied depending on the card. The odds do not change with red and black. After you confirm your betting choice, you will again be given the chance to choose the second card or you can have one selected for you.

If you have a winning hand, you must decide whether to collect your winnings or to continue. The last card from the previous hand will be your card of decision if you play another hand. If that card is very low or very high, you should choose to continue since the odds will be in your favour in the next hand. Of course if you want to take a chance, you can play against the odds to try to get a bigger payoff.

Object

If you can win 12 hands in a row, you will win the Genie's Hi Lo progressive jackpot, which is usually in the tens of thousands. You need to make an initial starting bet of at least $5.00 to be eligible for the jackpot.

If you have won several hands in a row, you'll want to keep the jackpot in mind as you formulate your strategy.
