About Spirits of Aztec

Spirits of Aztec is one of many Aztec themed video slots that is gracing the internet casino world. This particular one tries quite hard to be authentic, although in all honesty, it doesn’t look that different from other Aztec themed video slot. Spirits of Aztec is one of Playson’s games, so there should be decent graphics. You would hardly call those which feature in this slot impressive, though. Spirit of Aztec features Playson’s unusual 21 payline structure, and is played over the customary 5 reels that all video slots feature. Players can win as much as 10,000 coins in this video slot.

Special Features

If you’re ready to wager on Spirits of Aztec, you can click on the lines button to first choose how many lines you wish to play with. The bet button will then allow you to adjust your line bet to anything from 1 to 500 coins per line. As you can imagine, this gives Spirits of Aztec a pretty sizeable wagering range, which stems from 1 coin per line, per spin, up to a staggering 10,500 coins per spin.

Spirits of Aztec has a pretty useful wild icon. When this wild symbol appears, it can replace all other icons, barring scatter icons. This in and of itself is not that unusual. The wild symbol also counts as the jackpot icon, though. When 2, 3, 4 or 5 of these icons appear in any winning combination, players will pocket 5 coins, 100 coins, 1,000 coins or the 10,000 coin, non-progressive jackpot, respectively.

Bonus Features

Spirits of Aztec also contains a scatter icon, and that symbol is shaped like a crystal skull. It is also possibly the icon that contains the best graphics in the game! This scatter icon can see players pocket wins of 5x, 20x or 500x their total bet, if they land 3, 4 or 5 of these scatter icons in any positions on the reels. Finding three or more scatters on the reels will also trigger a free spins bonus game. There is nothing inherently spectacular about this free spins bonus. Spirits of Aztec’s free games feature contains 15 free spins, though no multipliers are added to the winnings.

This really is a basic game, with standard features. The theme is not terribly original, and the wagering range is considerable. It may be ideal for players of all budgets, but Spirits of Aztec doesn’t really do much that other slots don’t.
