DIEGO FORTUNE

About Diego Fortune

Diego Fortune is a tribal-themed slot machine game from Booongo, and one which incorporates various aspects of Mesoamerican culture and history (with a touch of the Spanish conquistadors) into its design. The slot offers up 5 reels and 20 non-adjustable paylines and features superb 3D graphics. Think of it as similar to NetEnt’s Gonzo’s Quest although far nuttier and absolutely zany at times. Although players don’t have much room to wiggle about when it comes to their wagers, they can still stake anything from a floor of $0.20 up to a ceiling of $100 per spin on this slot. Diego Fortune carries a top prize which is worth around 1,000 coins, and that prize is yours if you can land 5 of the golden head emblems on any active payline.

Special Features

Wild symbols appear as Diego’s helmet, and these symbols can only show up on the second and fourth reels of the game. When they do, they can substitute for all other symbols save for scatters and bonus icons.

Scatter icons appear as treasure chests, and these symbols can only appear on the first, third and fifth reels. You will need to land them on all 3 reels to trigger the slot’s main bonus round, which is a free spins bonus feature. This bonus promises a total of 15 free games in all.

Whenever a calendar coin lands on the first, third and fifth reels, it is accumulated above those reels. Once all 3 coin spots have been filled above a reel, that reel becomes sticky for a free re-spin. The basic idea behind this feature is that it allows you a chance to bag bigger wins. Players can bag up to 4 re-spins in all, depending on how many coins they have acquired and the reels which they appear on.

Bonus Feature

Players who land 3 of the map bonus symbols on the reels will trigger a bonus round. In this bonus round, players can make their way around a city, to pocket hidden treasures, which equate to instant cash prizes. Although it is packaged as the main bonus feature in this slot machine game, it doesn’t really offer you as much as other aspects of the slot.
