About The Master Cat

Leander Games’ The Master Cat is almost certainly based on Puss in Boots, although obviously, they don’t quite have the license to call it by that title. In fact, the Swedish translation of Puss in Boots is “Master Cat”. The 3D animation is decent in this game, which features a total of 5 reels and 25 paylines. Players won’t have too much control over how they set up their bets in The Master Cat, but they can wager anything from a low of 0.25 per spin, up to a total of just 50.00 per spin. At most, players can hope to scoop a non-progressive jackpot worth 1,500 coins in The Master Cat online slot game.

Special Features

As it happens, the animated Master Cat logo is the wild symbol in this game. When it appears, it can replace all other symbols, save for bonus icons. It is also the best paying symbol in the game. At any point in the game, the Extra Wild Feature may be randomly triggered. When it is, the Master Cat might dive onto the reels and slash extra wilds on them with his claws. These wilds can also substitute for all other icons, save for bonus symbols.

If the player lands the bonus icon (a smiling man) on the first, third, and fifth reels of this slot, then they will trigger the bonus round. The bonus round comes in three consecutive stages, and the player must work their way through them to win bonus cash.

Bonus Feature

The first of these stages is the A Hare for a King pick me bonus. Players can select from various platters on the screen to win cash prizes. Once the collect icon has been identified, the winnings are paid out, and the bonus ends. If they successfully dodge that icon, the player moves onto the next stage of the bonus game.

In the Save the Marquis trail bonus, players can spin a wheel to try and get the marquis across a river. Should the player locate the collect symbol on the wheel, the bonus is over. If the king saves the marquis, then you advance to the final stage.

In the final bonus round – Ogre Palace Free Spins – the player will start in Mouse Mode. This awards infinite free spins. If an Ogre appears on the third reel, the mode switches to Ogre Mode, which offers just 8 free games. Players need to get a mouse on the third reel to return to mouse mode before they run out of spins, to continue playing. Ogres and mice act as additional wilds in this free spins bonus. Once you run of spins, the bonus ends.
