About Sizzling Scorpions

Sizzling Scorpions is a classic slot machine game from Microgaming. Don’t expect the world with this slot, which is really basic, elementary and ideal either for those players who love classic one-armed bandits, fancy a trip down memory lane, or are starting out in the online slot world for the very first time. There is a basic theme in this slot, and that is the cartoony scorpion who appears below the reels.

Sizzling Scorpions is not exactly going to bankrupt you to play. Below the reels and paytable of this slot, players should have been able to select their coin values, the number of coins they wish to stake, and see their total bet. Coin values cannot be adjusted, though. Instead, they are fixed at 0.50 in total. Players are able to choose whether they wish to stake 1, 2 or 3 coins per spin, though, and that will see their wager range from 0.50 per spin, up to 1.50 per spin total.

Special Features

Believe it or not, there is actually a special feature in this game. It takes the shape of a buzzard. When the buzzard symbols lands on the game’s single payline, then you will be able to activate a small bonus round. In this bonus feature, players can pocket a few instant wins, although it is hardly anything worth getting terribly excited about.

Instead, most of your wins in this slot are going to stem from the standard paying symbols. These include the sun symbol, bar icons, green sevens, or scorpions. The more coins you wager per spin, the more you are going to win in this game. Wins typically range from 1 coin with a single sun icon on the game’s payline, up to 210 coins for 3 sevens appearing on the reels.

Winning the jackpot

The best prize you can win in the game is non-progressive jackpot. This is won by landing 3 scorpion icons on the game’s solitary payline. The amount you win again varies, depending on the amount you have wagered. A one-coin bet with this win can see you bag 1,000 coins. Landing 3 scorpions with 3 coins staked can see you win 5,000 coins.

If Sizzling Scorpions would allow you to alter the value of your coins, it would be a top slot. Since it doesn’t, it is only a mediocre classic slot machine game.
