ROBBIE JONES

About Robbie Jones

Cartoony in design, Robbie Jones (or to use its full name, Robbie Jones and the Heart of the Nile) is a comic book style slot machine, and one with a very Indiana Jones theme to it. Robbie Jones also contains crocodiles, TNT and many other seemingly odd symbols which do actually help to further the scattered storyline. Robbie Jones and the Heart of the Nile features 5 reels and 99 paylines, and has been designed by Fugaso with NetEnt’s Jack Hammer clearly an inspiration. The slot can see players able to choose coin values of 0.01 up to 0.50, and bet as many as 10 of those per spin. Wagers stretch from 0.50 per spin up to 250.00 a game, which isn’t too bad when you consider that there are 99 lines in this slot. Top prizes worth roughly 990,000 coins, and are delivered via a non-progressive jackpot.

Special Features

Robbie Jones contains a Multi Win feature. When players win (or land 3 free spin icons) they will trigger the Multi Win feature. Those symbols will then be held, whilst all others will re-spin (just like in Jack Hammer) which can see players pocket further wins if new symbols appear to match those already held.

Wild symbols show up as speedboats, and they can substitute for all symbols save for free spin triggering scatters. Those scatters appear as gemstones, and these can offer a total of 10, 13, 16 or 20 free spins with 5, 6, 7 and 8 or more free spin scatters appear anywhere on the reels.

Bonus Feature

Robbie Jones and the Heart of the Nile offers a decent enough free spins bonus. For starters, anything you win in this feature will instantly be doubled. You can also pocket additional free spins by landing more icons on the reels whilst the bonus is in session. Lastly, players will want to keep their eyes peeled for random wilds. These can crop up during a free spin bonus, and replace all other symbols in the slot except for regular wild symbol and free spin symbols.

The inspiration behind Robbie Jones and the Heart of the Nile is quite plain for all to see. In many aspects, this Jack Hammer for Indian Jones fans. However, it is nice release for Fugaso, and one which showcases what this fledgling casino software developer can deliver.
