About Rally

Leander Games’ Rally slot is, of course, themed on rally racing, and lacks the clean cut, and crisp features we sometimes tend to find in other games from this developer. This certainly isn’t one of their biggest hits, but every developer has the odd stinker. Rally utilises high playing card icons for the majority of its imagery, and that makes it rather boring, since little about the reels of this game tie in with the theme of the slot.

Rally is played over 5 reels and 25 paylines, and you do actually get a bit of liberty in how your bets are constructed. For starters, players can choose between 1 and 25 paylines to play with, whilst at the same time, betting rather cheaply. Rally is not going to cost you a packet to play, but neither is it going to cough up big wins for you, with the non-progressive prize being worth 5,000x your total bet at most. In order to win that prize you need to line up 5 wild icons on a payline.

Special features

The “rally” icon acts as a wild symbol in this video slot. There is nothing inherently special about this symbol, save for the fact that it can replace all other symbols in the slot. Rally wild symbols are the best paying symbols in the slot and can offer you the aforementioned jackpot. After them, the rally driver is the best paying symbol, offering you up to 500x your total stake at most.

Two other special symbols appear in this slot, and they are both scatters. The trophy icon can offer you 5x, 50x, or 150x your total bet if it appears 3, 4 or 5 times in any positions on the screen. However, it is the bonus icon which you really want to land, since it triggers a bonus feature.

Bonus round

Once you have landed the bonus icon on the first, third, and fifth reels of the slot, you will be taken to the Rally slot’s bonus round. There you can choose which route you wish to take to get to the finish line. Every time you reach a checkpoint, you will pocket an instant win cash prize. Your car can take damage along the way, and once your car’s damage meter reaches 100% the bonus round will end, and you will pocket your winnings. You can repair your car at the end of each checkpoint, but only by 5%.
