HEAVYWEIGHT GOLD

About Heavyweight Gold

Boxing is the name of the game for this Rival Gaming developed video slot. Heavyweight Gold offers up a 5-reel, 20-line gaming format, and one which most online slot lovers will be more than familiar with. Heavyweight Gold contains medical boxes, dumbbells, punching bags, bells, buckets of water and towels, world championship belts, and of course, a battered and bruised boxer. The Heavyweight Gold is kind of tongue-in-cheek in terms of design, and contains coin values of 0.01 up to 0.25. As many as 10 of these can be staked per payline, and paylines are adjustable. Expect floor bets of 0.01 per line per spin, whilst ceiling bets are capped at 50.00 per spin in all. Players who land 5 of the blonde-haired star boxer can expect to win as much as 1,000 coins via the game’s non-progressive jackpot.

Special Features

The blonde-haired boxer is so much more than the jackpot paying symbol, though. This icon also doubles up as a wild symbol. Wilds are only capable of appearing on the first, second, and third reels of the game, but they can expand to occupy entire reels when they form part of winning combinations. Wilds can replace all other symbols barring scatter and bonus icons.

Scatter symbols appear as scorecard girls, and these symbols can trigger a free spins bonus round if 3 or more appear anywhere on the reels during a single spin.

Land 3 or more of the opponent symbols on the reels and you will also trigger a secondary, more thematic bonus round in this slot.

Bonus Feature

The free spins feature in Heavyweight Gold allows you to pocket either 10, 20, or a mighty fine 100 free spins for 3, 4 or 5 scatters appearing on the reels. During the free spins feature, all winnings that you encounter will be met with a 3x multiplier.

Players will also find that the Knockout Bonus (triggered via bonus icons) can see you take on your opponents in the ring. The opponents are initially easy to fight, but the further you go into the bonus, the more challenging the feature becomes. Players can hit their opponents at the right time to knock them down, and must block punches to stay in the game. Naturally, the further you get in this secondary bonus feature, the larger the cash prizes will be worth.
