HEAVY METAL

About Heavy Metal

Microgaming’s Heavy Metal slot is actually a one-armed bandit style game. This classic slot machine contains your run of the mill 3-reel structure, although there are 3 paylines on its reels, instead of the default 1 payline. Players are going to find that this slot contains bar icons, 7 icons, and green haired beauties, that is all there is to it. The lack of symbols means that you actually have a reasonable chance of success at winning in this game. Heavy Metal allow players to choose coin denominations of 0.25, 0.50, 1.00, 2.00, or 5.00, and players can stake up to 3 coins per spin. Players will see that their wager can range from a low of 0.25 per spin (on a single payline), up to 15.00 per spin in total.

Pay-outs

You can forget about landing special features in the Heavy Metal slot, because there are none. We know that some Microgaming developed classic slots have special features, but Heavy Metal is not one of those games.

Instead, players are going to have to standard paying icons on the reels to bag wins, but like we’ve said, there are a shortage of them, so wins are frequent enough. Any 3 bars will see you net 5 coins, whilst 3 single, double, or triple bar icons can see you win 10, 20, or 50 coins, respectively. Land any 3 green haired woman or 7 icons to win 75 coins. If you can land three of the 7 icons, you will pocket 150 coins.

Winning the jackpot

In order to win this slot’s non-progressive jackpot, you need to pocket three green haired icons across any of the slot’s paylines. Which payline you land them on determines how much of a non-progressive jackpot you will win. Players can pocket 1,000 coins by landing 3 green haired icons on the first payline, which runs across the centre of the reels. Bagging them on the second payline (which runs across the top of the reels) will see you win 2,000 coins. If you can land them on the third reel (which runs across the bottom of the reels), you will win 4,000 coins in all. This is all pretty standard stuff from Microgaming, so don’t expect huge crowds to be ploughing their cash into the Heavy Metal classic slot machine.
