About Golf Tour
This noisy but graphically superior video slot is one of GamePlay Interactive’s better slots. It is a golfing theme game, and one which contains quality graphics. Its theme tune is rather irritating, and its audio is a bit of a drag, and the gameplay is not exactly creative or decent. Golf Tour is supposed to be themed on the PGA, as is evident from the imagery on its 5 reels and 5 paylines. It is quite a petite slot, structurally, then. Golf Tour will permit players to choose wagers which range from 0.03 per line, up to 3.60 per line. These unusual sums will see you wagering anything from 0.15 per spin, up to 18.00 per spin, since you cannot adjust the number of lines you play with in this slot. At most, you can expect to be able to compete to win up to 2,000 coins via this game’s non-progressive jackpot.
Special Features
Scatter icons take the shape of a set of clubs. They can pay you winnings both ways, from right to left, as well as left to right. WInnings worth up to the aforementioned 2,000 coins can be won with these wilds, which can only replace the other club symbols. This makes them rather redundant, really.
There are three scatters (the golfer, the trophy, and the golf cart). When three of the same kind appear consecutively on the reels, they will trigger a rather petite bonus round in the slot. This is not an easy thing to do.
Bonus Feature
The bonus round in Golf Tour is rather dull, really. Players can win a simple pay out of 1x their total bet, 3x their total bet, or 10x their total bet, depending on whether they landed 3, 4, or 5 of the same scatter icons on the reels. Sure, their payout does come from a rather brilliant looking CGI cutscene. However, the actual gameplay of it is pretty poor.
With graphics like these, Golf Tour had the potential to become one of - if not the best golfing themed slots on the net. As it is, the features, lack of paylines, and cash prizes make this slot one of the most beige golfing slots about. Better golfing slots are in existence out there, so Golf Tour certainly won’t be for most players.
