GLUTTERS

About Glutters

Leander Games developer has gone on a limb to create an unusual 5 reel, 20 win line slot. In this little world, all that glutters is not gold. Well I had to throw that one in there. The theme is a cutesy colourful land where the inhabitants are a cross between jelly babies and living coloured fruits called Glutters. Now gluttony is not all bad, especially if it can win you some big moolah.

This slot feels more like something to keep toddlers busy but it’s still a solid slot with some interesting features.

Special Features

There’s a special Food-Cannon in the bottom right corner that fires appetizing treats to random Glutters. The food has a level attached to it which powers up the Glutter eating it as follows, the apple gives 1 level, the cupcake gives 2 levels and the burger gives 3 levels. So say for instance a level 2 blue Glutter eats a burger it will grow to level 5. If the level 5 orange one eats anything, it will automatically become a wild instead.

The cannon comprises of three parts, the shot, the target and the ammo. The shot determines how many times it will fire, up to a maximum of three times. The target selects which Glutters of that type will be fed and the ammo determines which food will be shot out.

Of course if you’re really lucky you could have a whole bunch of purple level ones on the screen and then feed them in continuously to promote them to a whole screen of wilds!

Bonus Feature

There is a free spin bonus round that gives you five free spins for starters. This happens when a picnic basket with the word BONUS, in other words the scatter, appears on reels 2, 3 and 4 and they don’t have to align with one another. The contents of the basket are fed through the mechanical contraption of the food-cannon, randomized, and shot to one of five (non-wild) Glutters waiting to be fed.

In what they call the picker, select a Glutter to be fed, and as before, depending on the food type, that Glutter will grow that specific number of levels. The purpose is to keep feeding them until they reach the red level five in order to gain the number of additional free spins. The result is not that simple because hidden in the basket are nasty bombs which can blow up the creatures and destroy all your free spins.

When that feature starts your free spins will count down and the Food-Cannon will be more active.
