DIAMOND EXPRESS

About Diamond Express

CEGO is a small Danish casino software provider and one that isn’t overly well-known in the world of online betting. However, that hasn’t stopped them from having a crack at developing a nifty little slot in the name of Diamond Express. This is a game that is part mining, part diamond in theme. You’re also looking at a spot of Wild West action thrown in. The game is a bizarre one, with a 3x3 grid ensuring that the game is played with nine reels and eight lines. We’ve seen games like this before – Playtech’s Everybody’s Jackpot comes to mind – but they seldom tend to be huge crowd pleasers. An RTP of 97% will likely impress to a degree in this Gold Rush-inspired slot, though. Having a stab at the game is going to cost you at least 0.09 per spin, while maximum bets tend to be affordable at around 90.00 a pop. The game is progressive in nature and supports medium volatility.

Special Features

There are a few goodies to be snapped up in this game, and that helps Diamond Express stand out from some of the other, more straightforward classic slots out there. For instance, you are looking at a game that features wild symbols and multiplier symbols as well as scatters. Wild symbols can replace all barring scatters, and those scatters can be used to activate a free spin bonus round.

As a matter of fact, there are three different bonus rounds you can trigger. The Buffalo Game and Diamond Hunt rounds are fine for what they offer, but if you want to get your hands on Diamond Express’ Jackpot and Super Jackpot prizes, you’ll need to trigger the Mine Labyrinth game.

Bonus Feature

Diamond Express is really all about the Mine Labyrinth bonus. Once it is triggered, you can expect to start riding a mining cart around. Heading deep underground, you need to find a pathway through the madness and labyrinth to reach the best paying prizes in the game. This is not going to be easy to achieve, even for more seasoned puzzlers. However, the game does have more of an element of skill to it than many features in rival slots.

We should hand it to CEGO for developing a slot machine which is quite unlike most titles that have come before it. However, we’re not convinced that it will go on to be a hugely successful slot on account of it having poor availability.
