Special Features

The game board for Crypt Keeper is set up as you might imagine. It bears a resemblance to a haunted house or a torture chamber, with chains hanging down from the ceiling. The top of the board has three skulls sitting right over the middle reel, with burning candles to either side. The top window is covered by a spider web.

In such a setting, you won't be surprised that the symbols in Crypt Keeper include a frightened Cat, a Bat, a Skull, a Skeleton and a Jack o' Lantern with a black cat perched on top.

There are four other special symbols in the game, all taken from famous horror movies. They induce Frankenstein, who is the game's Wild symbol. If he contributes to a winning line, the payoff will receive a random multiplier of 2x, 5x or 10x. The Scatter symbol in the game is Dracula. Get at least three of that symbol and you will win a multiplier.

A third important symbol in Crypt Keeper is the Wolf Man. Get at least three of that symbol and you will enter a bonus round in which you are guaranteed to win a multiplier. When this bonus is triggered, you will also see the Wolf Man go out into a field and you will hear him howling into the night.

Special Bonus Features
