ATLANTIS

About Atlantis

Since Plato wrote about the lost city of Atlantis about two millenniums ago, the name ‘Atlantis’ has found its way into many facets of society; From literature to theatre and even games, the legend of the submerged nation has proved to be a rich source of inspiration for creators. Even slot developers are not left out.

Atlantis from Microgaming is a fun slot game inspired by the fascinating legend of Atlantis. As expected, gaming action takes place underwater in a 3 reel set featuring a single pay line. As you can tell from the set up, the game is a pretty simple and straightforward design. The minimalist nature of the game also means that it isn’t cluttered with many features. Some of the features to look forward to in the game include wild symbols and multipliers.

The Microgaming slot also offers a wagering limit that will appeal to a range of gambling preferences. The betting range begins from as little as $0.25 and goes up to $200.

The game can be played on multiple devices spanning mobile, tablet and desktop systems.

Special Features

The game follows a simple model inspired by the classic slots. This is probably the first thing you will notice when the game loads if you are conversant with classic slots. If you are also familiar with retro styled online slots then you know what to expect in the game. The symbols used in the game are the same ones you are used to if you are a big fan of retro styled games.

The symbols you will be looking to form matching combinations with include those of seahorse 7s, Bars, double Bars, triple Bars and oyster shells. Rewards in the game are for landing matching combinations. The prize you land for forming winning combinations will depend on the value of the symbols involved in the combo.

The game also includes a wild feature which comes in the form of a treasure chest. The symbol can take the place of other symbols to form matching combinations in the game. But the wild symbol does more than just help you form matching combinations. Each winning combination aided by the wild will be doubled. However, if two wilds show up, your wins will be quadrupled.

The wild is also a paying symbol. You can be sure to get a reward if you are lucky enough to land three or more wilds on the reels.

Bonus Feature

The minimalist nature of the game means that it isn’t cluttered with multiple features. This means you won’t find scatter or bonus symbols that activate bonus rounds. However, if you are a big fan of retro styled slots then this shouldn’t be a problem.
