How to play

Once a bet has been placed in this game, the dealer issues one card to both themselves and the player. Those cards will then be compared. If there is a tie, the player must make a choice: surrender, or go to war.

If the player chooses to go to war, they must raise their bet by an amount equal to the original ante wager. A total of three cards will then be tossed aside, and new cards will be distributed to the dealer and player. The player (or dealer) with the highest value card wins. If there is still a tie, a tied pay-out is offered in some casinos.

Should the player opt to surrender, they will forfeit half of their original bet.
