About Dragon’s Fortune

Dragon’s Fortune is a simple scratch card game from Microgaming. This online scratch card offers a slightly different setup than you are ordinarily used to seeing in a scratch card game. For starters, there is no 3x3 window, but a set of six blank circles in a frame. It is in those blank circles that players will be hoping to match 2 identical symbols. For all intents and purposes, this scratch card works in the same way as a standard instant win game, even if it does look a little different. Players will end up staking anything from 0.50 per game, up to 10.00 a game with this scratch card.

Payouts and symbols

As players can see from the paytable away to the left of the screen, there are 8 different Chinese characters represented on the screen, and each one of them is a distinct colour. You simply need to match 2 of the same colour to bag a win.

The yellow, black and pink symbols are worth the least, at 2x, 5x and 10x your total bet, respectively. Purple, red, green and blue characters can see players pocket wins worth 100x, 250x, 1,000x or 10,000x their total bet. Land 3 of the golden/orange coloured character symbols on the reels and you can win up to 20,000x your total bet, which happens to be the top paying prize in this instant win game.

Final thoughts

By only needing to match 2 “pearls” in the six-frame window, players have a slightly better chance of bagging wins than in any other run-of-the-mill scratch card game. However, it should be noted that players are going to have to wager slightly more than they would ordinarily do in a game of this calibre. Dragon’s Fortune is certainly a nice enough scratch card game, and as far as online scratch card games go, the original setup and design of the game does make it more appealing than similar types of casino games. Even so, there won’t be too large a market for an online scratch card, whether it has been developed by Microgaming or otherwise.
