WILDCAT CANYON

About Wildcat Canyon

NextGen Gaming are the developers behind the Wildcat Canyon video slot, which takes on a typical coyote and wild west theme to tell its tale. Wildcat Canyon doesn’t contain a roadrunner, though, if that is what you were thinking. Instead, a collection of other animals runs amok across the reels of this slot. The video slot offers a very simple 5-reel, 25-line structure, and players can adjust any of the lines as they see fit. Players can also choose line bets which range from 0.01 up to 1.00. Expect minimum and maximum wagers in this slot to stretch from 0.01 per line, per spin, up to 25.00 per spin at most. Wildcat Canyon also comes with a non-progressive jackpot which is worth around 5,000 coins in all. To land that jackpot prize, players are going to have to land 5 vultures on any active payline in the slot.

Special Features

The raving coyote or wildcat (if you prefer) acts as the wild symbol in this slot. That is rather fitting, actually. Wildcat Canyon’s wild symbol can only appear on the second and fourth reels of the slot, and can substitute for all other symbols barring scattered paw print icons.

Those paw print icons appear quite frequently on the reels, which is certainly going to appease most players. These can offer you scattered wins worth 2x, 5x, 15x, or 200x your total bet, when 2, 3, 4 or 5 appear anywhere on the reels.

It is the aforementioned scatters which can trigger a bonus round in this slot, when 3 or more appear anywhere on the reels at any one time.

Bonus Feature

The special feature in this slot is a free games bonus. Players will get to choose their own free spins bonus in the Wildcat Canyon slot game, via the Select a Play feature. With it, players could end up landing 15 free games with a 3x multiplier, 10 free games with a 5x multiplier, or 5 free games with a 10x multiplier if they wish. During the free games bonus, any wild symbols popping up will freeze the reel on which they appear, and all other reels are re-spun. This sticky wild can result in some pretty nifty wins being paid out if luck is with you when playing Wildcat Canyon.
