About Under Water
Under Water Diving Slot was created by SkillOnNet and contains five reels with 20 pay lines. Each wheel has three rows and this makes it a 3 x 5 grid game. There have been comparisons to this and Kiss the Sky, and there are undeniably similarities between the two games.
Under Water is based, you guessed it, underwater when the background is the blue of the ocean and you can see numerous fish and sharks swimming past. Apart from the fish and the bubbles there’s always action going on with anchors being dropped and searchlights going past. The corals and anemones are colourful and look lively. But the symbols used in the game are bland, simple and really two-dimensional.
The symbols that you can get can be viewed in the pay table and consist of seahorses, lifejackets, oyster shells, starfish, snorkelling gear, swimming flippers, seashells and scuba tanks.
The majority of symbols pay out with as few as two of them but they need to occur on an active pay line from left to right.
The music is quite cheery and sounds similar to the smash hit from Disney’s Little Mermaid, Under the Sea. The sounds made when you win are not that exciting though.
Special Features
There is a yacht with the word Scatter beneath it. They allow free spins to be one from to right up to 20, if you can get five scatters in a row. A substitute symbol known as a wild takes the form of yellow angelfish that has the word Wild through it. Substitutes make easier for combinations to be made as they stand with other symbols to become their partners.
Bonus Feature
Be on the lookout for orange lifejacket with the word BONUS on it. You need to activate the bonus game by collecting 1000 points. These points are tallied by the scuba tank in the top right of the screen and 100 points are accumulated each time the bonus icon appears anywhere on the grid. The tank becomes more pressurised which means that you will have more oxygen in which to go to deeper depths.
When the bonus game activates you have to choose between six items, three of them chests and three of them oyster shells, in order to find hidden prize. Select one and a diver will come on screen to go investigate for you. If you missed the booby prize you will go on to the second level of bonuses. Guessed correctly again you are off to the third round. Any incorrect guesses will end the feature and you will keep whatever you have managed to find.
