THE REBEL

About The Rebel

The Rebel is loosely based on James Dean’s Rebel Without a Cause film, and the graphics on the reels of this slot showcase just as much. The game has been designed and developed by iSoftBet, and features wonderfully cartoony graphics, as well as a splash of Marilyn Monroe and Elvis Presley symbols on its reels. The Rebel offers up 5 reels and 20 paylines of action, with players able to alter the number of lines they wish to play with easily enough. They can also choose to bet up to 5 coins per line, with coin values ranging from 0.01 up to 0.25 in total. Expect to find wagers which flex from 0.01 per line per spin, up to 25.00 a pop in this slot, which carries a non-progressive jackpot which is capped at roughly 100,000 credits.

Special Features

The Rebel’s car acts as a scatter icon in this slot, and when 2, 3, 4 or 5 such symbols appear anywhere on the screen during a single spin, players can hope to win as much as 5, 50, 500 or 1,000 coins. Three or more scatters will also trigger this slot’s bonus round, or at least that is what we are led to believe. We actually couldn’t find one.

The Rebel himself appears as a wild symbol, and if players can land 2, 3, 4 or 5 of these symbols on the reels, they will pocket wins worth 10, 150, 1,000 or 4,000 coins. Wilds can replace all other standard paying symbols in this non-progressive video slot.

Players will note that after a win, they can choose to gamble their winnings via a Double or Quit feature. We wouldn’t recommend this (especially with big wins) as your chances of success are 50% or less, which isn’t brilliant now, is it?

Bonus Feature

Despite the scatters claiming to trigger a bonus – we believe that the bonus is nothing more than scattered wins. Try as we might, we simply couldn’t identify or trigger any bonus round in this slot. A bonus feature is mentioned on the paytable, though, although aside from a likely free spin feature or instant win bonus round, we are clueless as to what that might be. Whatever it is, it certainly isn’t easy to trigger.
