SUMATRAN STORM

About Sumatran Storm

The sister slot of IGT’s Siberian Storm, Sumatran Storm offers much the same thing as that game, albeit with a Sumatran Tiger as the centrepiece and theme, rather than a Siberian Tiger. Lovers of the Siberian Storm slot will also find this one very agreeable, as its gameplay is virtually identical. Sumatran Storm features IGT’s Multiway Xtra payline structure, which means that players will win with any combination of 3 symbols or more which appears right to left, or left to right across the 3-4-5-4-3 reel format. The RTP rate in this game is between 93.23% and 96.56%, which isn’t too bad for a game with a non-progressive jackpot which is worth 1,000 coins. Sumatran Storm won’t allow you to alter any of the slot’s payline (you never can in a Multiway Xtra slot), but you can still stake anything from a floor of 0.60 per spin, up to a ceiling of 3,000.00 per spin on this non-progressive slot machine game.

Special Features

Wild symbols tend to show up as the titular Sumatran Tiger. Keep your eyes peeled for these symbols on the second, third and fourth reels since they can substitute for all symbols barring scatter icons.

Those scatters appear as gemstones (common for these slots) and these can deliver scattered cash prizes worth 2x, 10x, or even 50x your total bet when 3, 4 or 5 appear anywhere on the reels. Scatter symbols do not trigger bonuses, though, you will need to land 5 eye symbols to do that.

Landing 5 eye symbols on consecutive reels will trigger Sumatran Storm’s free spins feature.

The Sumatran Storm is the best-paying logo in this slot machine, and landing 5 of those on a payline can see you win a non-progressive jackpot which is capped at 1,000 coins in total.

Bonus Feature

In this bonus round, players will start off with a total of just 5 free games. However, since eye symbols can appear stacked, it is possible that you might trigger the bonus several times on a single spin – in which case, the number of spins you get is magnified; up to 60 free spins are there for the taking in all. Players can retrigger the feature so that they play with as many as 150 free spins in all.
