SUB COMMANDER 1942

About Sub Commander: 1942

iSoftBet’s Sub Commander:1942 video slot is as you can tell, based on one era of submarine warfare (the Second World War), but despite that, there are still ladies appearing on the reels of the game. So much for historical accuracy. If you leave this minor detail to the side, you can enjoy a rather decent slot machine, which is played over a total of 5 reels and 15 paylines. Sub Commander: 1942 will allow you total control over your bets, with all 15 paylines adjustable, as are the coin values and the number of coins you stake per spin. The former allows you to choose coin sizes from 0.01 up to 0.25, whilst the latter can see you stake up to 10 coins per line. Sub Commander: 1942 comes with a non-progressive jackpot which is worth up to 12,000 coins in total.

Special Features

The aforementioned lady is the wild symbol in this slot, and she can substitue for all other symbols in the game, barring scatters. She is also a very decent paying symbol, and can cough up wins worth as much as 10,000 coins in total.

Scatter icons take on the shape of submarines, and they can offer you scattered wins which range from 2x your total bet, up to 100x your total bet, when 2 or more appear in any positions on the reels.

If you land 3 captain symbols on a single payline, then you will trigger the first of two bonus rounds in Sub Commander: 1942. This bonus can see you win up to 10x your total bet per line, and pocket up to 10 free spins along the way. You just need to pick one of three captain icons to see what you have won.

Naturally, the high playing card symbols are worth the least in this slot, with pay-outs typically ranging from as low as 4 coins up to 200 coins. Bars in the shape of missiles, divers, gold medals, and whales can see you win anything from 2 coins up to 4,000 coins in total.

Bonus Feature

A secondary bonus round is triggered by landing 3, 4 or 5 of the radar icons on the reels. This will trigger the Sub-Commander Bonus Round. In this bonus, players can shoot submarines to win up to the aforementioned 12,000-coin jackpot. It is a very simple instant play bonus round, but one which adds a lot of panache to the overall theme of this World War II themed video slot. There is plenty of excitement to be had in this game.
