STAR TREK

About Star Trek

Star Trek is based on the hit 2009 film of the same name, which has been designed and developed by IGT. This slot features clips and imagery directly from the film, and that is always going to be a lure to fans. Star Trek is played over 5 reels and 30 paylines, and certainly has an intergalactic look and feel to it. The game has a decent RTP (return to player) rate, and its wagering range is far more flexible than many other IGT developed slots out there. Players can expect to be able to wager anything from 0.30 per spin up to 60.00 per spin in all, which is not too shabby. As for the prizes, Star Trek dishes out a non-progressive jackpot which is worth 1,000x your total bet, making this title very appealing indeed.

Special Features

Any major movie-themed slot like Star Trek is going to require a handful of special features to impress its players. Fortunately, there are several for players to enjoy here. The Star Trek logo appears as the game’s wild symbol, and it can replace all other symbols save for scatters.

As for the scatter icons, they appear as “bonus” icons, and there is one for each character in the slot. Each of those character bonus icons is responsible for one of four bonuses. When two standard bonus icons land on the second and third reel and one character-bonus icon lands on the fourth reel, the game will load a bonus designed to match that character. An instant win feature, whereby players click on transporter pads will take them to one of the slot’s main bonus rounds.

Bonus Feature

In Captain Kirk’s Bonus, players will get to play with 3 to 6 free spins with a 3x multiplier tripling all your wins. Every spin is guaranteed a win. In Scotty’s Bonus, players will get to play with 10 free spins, and a random 2x to 5x multiplier will be added to your winnings. Whatever multiplier you get will be doubled from the sixth spin onwards.

Spock’s Bonus offers players between 10 and 15 free spins, and Spock can appear as an extra wild symbol throughout. Kirk symbols also double the value you can usually win when they appear in winning combos. Lastly, Uhuru’s Bonus offers you between 6 and 12 free games, and extra scatter icons appear to help you not only land scattered cash prizes but to potentially retrigger a bonus round.
