RAINBOW REELS

About Rainbow Reels

Rainbow Reels is a game which has been developed by Mazooma but distributed on Novomatic’s Greentube platform. As any experienced slot player will be able to tell from the title of this game, the slot is themed on Irish luck. Like many similar slots, it features an epic multi-coloured rainbow as its backdrop, with leprechauns, pots of gold and other Irish luck imagery splashed across its reels. There are 5 of those reels in total, with players able to wager on 20 paylines as they play. Bets are incredibly cheap (all paylines are adjustable), and cost as little as 0.01 per spin. Maximum stakes cost quite a bit more but are still moderate and suitable for most players, being capped at 50.00 a spin. This game’s return to player rate is capped at the industry standard of 95%, while its non-progressive jackpot is fair and reasonable at 500x your stake. Landing 5 leprechaun wilds on the reels will see that prize delivered.

Special Features

As we’ve touched upon, the leprechaun symbol in this Irish luck-themed slot is both a wild icon and the best-paying one in the game. The icon can replace all others save for pots of gold, wishing well or bonus rainbow symbols.

Those three symbols are all bonus triggering icons, just as they are in the more popular Rainbow Riches slot from Barcrest. In fact, this game is like that other Irish luck-themed slot in far more ways than one.

When the bonus rainbow symbols appear on the reels at least three times on a single spin, players can select from plenty of clovers to win instant cash prizes. This feature only ends when the collect sign appears, with prizes worth up to 500x your stake.

Landing three of the pots of gold symbols on the reels will trigger another instant win bonus. In this round, picking one of the pots could see you win up to 500x your total bet once more.

Bonus Feature

The final bonus symbol in this game is the wishing well icon. Again, three or more will trigger another instant, click and win prize round. This time, players need only select one of the symbols to win a cash prize worth up to 500x their bet. A gamble feature has also been included in this game, but there are no free spins to be had, which is a bit of a shame.
