About Quake
Spieldev’s Quake slot machine is not based on the popular video game, but actually a killer, monstrous earthquake. That’s a pity since many gamers would have loved a game based on that popular 90s game. Quake offers players a very primitive and very basic gaming structure to get onboard with. They can select coin denominations which stem from 0.01 up to 1.00, and that raises the bet from a floor of 0.25 up to a high of 25.00 per spin on this 5-reel, 25-line slot. You’ve got no hope of altering those paylines, either. Players can, however, hope to win as much as 5,000 coins if they are able to land 5 firefighters on any payline in the game. This prize happens to be the slot’s non-progressive jackpot.
Special Features
Quake’s special features include an earthquake feature, which is triggered whenever an earthquake icon appears on the third reel. When this happens, players will instantly pocket a cash prize worth 10x their total bet. For the next 25 spins, the game enters First Quake Mode, during which players could potentially bag larger cash multipliers by landing further earthquake symbols on the reels. In fact, they could land as many as 100x their total bet and earth shattering wild symbols when they land successive earthquakes. This is a nifty little feature, although unfortunately, it does take quite some getting used to.
Wild symbols can burn and take up residence on other parts of the reels, and these can replace all other standard paying symbols in this slot. However, Quake’s wild symbols cannot offer any cash prizes on their own accord, and that is a bit of a downer.
Bonus Feature
Unfortunately, there are no other special features to appear in Quake. As good as the Earthquake Feature is, that is all you are going to get, so you really need to make the most of it. The 25 spins you get with that feature aren’t free spins, either, they are paid spins; this means that each single one of them is going to cost you all of the way, which is disappointing to say the least.
