About Codex

Spieldev’s Codex slot machine is slow to start up, and that is a bad sign. Codex is played over a total of 5 reels and 20 paylines, none of which can be altered by the player. Players can, however, alter their total bets. These range from a base minimum of 0.20 per spin, up to a capped maximum wager of 100.00 per spin. Codex will see players able to win prizes which are worth up to 1,000 coins in total.

Special Features

The wild symbol is represented by a green emblem in this game, and as a wild it can substitute for all other symbols in the slot, barring three. Wilds cannot replace Vault Bonus and free spin symbols. They cannot replace Invention Combos either. Wilds have no cash values of their own to offer players.

Invention Combo symbols appear as star, triangle or whirl-shaped symbols. These can randomly boost your winnings by 4x, 5x or 6x your total bet when all 3 symbols are used in conjunction with one another.

As for the free spin bonus round, players need to land 3, 4 or 5 of the free spin symbols in order to trigger a total of 7, 10 or 12 free spins, respectively. Free spin symbols can appear on any reel and be retriggered indefinitely. Vault symbols do not appear during this bonus round.
