About Lucky Cherry

The Lucky Cherry slot machine is a very basic, but enjoyable video slot from NYX Interactive (Amaya Gaming). As with most slots which largely contain fruit and bar symbols, this is a classic slot machine game. Players can expect to be able to find just a single line on the reels of this slot, so don’t expect too much in terms of flexibility. The simplistic betting buttons will enable you bet anything from a floor of 0.01 per spin, up to a ceiling of 10.00 per spin. Lucky Cherry has two jackpots for you to win, depending on whether you wager one coin or two on your spin. A simple 1-coin bet can see you win up to 800 coins in all, whilst a two-coin bet could see you win double that, at 1,600 coins.

Special features

Even though this is a classic slot machine game, there are a few special features present in the slot. Well, there are wild symbols, anyway. Wild symbols can appear in the form of the smiling cherry icon. This symbol also happens to be the best paying symbol in the slot.

When the cherry wild appears once on the game’s singular payline, it can substitute for all other symbols in the game, and double the value of your winning combination. Land it twice on a payline and it will offer you wins worth 4x the normal rate of pay. If you land it thrice on a payline, no multiplier is given. This is because three wilds automatically equate to a non-progressive jackpot being won.

Bonus feature

As we’ve mentioned, wilds are the only special features and symbols you are going to find in this slot. Bearing that in mind, there is no bonus round in the slot for you to enjoy. There are, however, other possibilities to land wins. Players can hope to bag wins with just one or two standard fruit machine cherry symbols appear on the reels. Again, how much you win depends on the amount of coins you have wagered on your spin.

Final thoughts

This your classic run-of-the-mill fruit machine. It neither impresses nor underwhelms the player. There’s not a whole lot happening if we’re being brutally honest, but what do you expect from a simple slot which can cost a pittance to play? You get what you pay for. Lucky Cherry may still be a nice trip down memory lane for some players, though.
