About Hollywood Reels

Amaya Gaming has attempted to create a glitz and glamour themed slot in Hollywood Reels. It would never be an easy challenge to accurately represent the classics of Hollywood in a video slot, though Amaya Gaming appears to have accomplished it with style and grace, in Hollywood Reels. The slot contains some of the most famous scenes in movie history, such as Casablanca, Indiana Jones and Nosferatu. Interestingly enough, the slot is played over 5 reels and only 9 paylines, but has a non-progressive jackpot worth 12,500 coins.

Special Features

All nine of the paylines in this slot can be wagered on, and players can also adjust the number of coins that they wish to play each line with, by clicking on the individual paylines, along the sides of the reels. Credit sizes range from a low of 0.01 up to a high of 5.00. You are looking at a minimum bet that costs just 0.01 per line, per spin in this slot, as well as maximum stakes worth a total of no more than 225.00 per spin.

Nosferatu acts as Hollywood Reel’s wild symbol. This wild can replace both Indiana Jones and the Casablanca icons, but only those two. That is a bit bizarre, but at least there are wild symbols in the first place.

Aside from wilds, the movie reel and Hollywood star icons act as scatters. If a player lands three or more of either scatter anywhere on the reels, then they will pick up scattered wins which range from 1 coin, up to 2,700 coins.

Bonus Features

Hollywood Reels does have a bonus game included. That bonus icon is the movie board. When this icon appears three times or more on adjacent reels, it will trigger the Film Pick feature. Matching three symbols will give the player a 1x multiplier, whilst matching the symbols four or five times will see them pocket 2x and 3x multipliers against their total bet, respectively.

Once the Film Pick feature begins, players can click on film cans to pocket additional multipliers. They can keep on clicking on film cans and acquiring multipliers until the collect icons appear. Once it does, the bonus is over and the multipliers will be applied to the total bet wagered by the player that triggered the bonus. This will then give them a total win amount from the Film Pick feature.
