About Dragon 8s

This video slot features quite a nice blend of oriental imagery and graphics. Designed and developed by Amaya Gaming, the slot is a standard left to right paying game, and one which features an easy to grasp gaming structure. A total of 20 paylines are spread over its 5 reels, and players are at liberty to adjust quite a few things concerning their wagers. At its cheapest, the slot will cost just 0.01 per line per spin, which is again standard for a video slot. However, if a player wishes to push the boat out, they can decide to wager much more than that. In fact, the capped maximum wager in this game is fixed at 50.00 per spin. A top non-progressive jackpot worth 50,000 coins is winnable in this oriental themed video slot, which mainly takes its inspiration from dragons.

Special Features

A Chinese Dragon takes centre stage as a wild icon in the game. It is also the best paying symbol in the game, as well as a substitute symbol for all other icons, save for free spin and scatter icons. If you line up 5 wilds on any payline, you will win the non-progressive jackpot.

The scatter icon is a fan, and when it appears 2, 3, 4, or 5 times anywhere on the screen, the player will pocket scattered wins worth 1x, 2x, 15x, or 200x their total bet. Those are pretty decent wins for a scatter icon in an Amaya Gaming developed slot.

It is worth pointing out that naturally, if you wager less than the maximum wager in this slot, then the amount you can win with the game’s jackpot is decreased.

Bonus Feature

It is the bonus icon you should watch out for. It takes the shape of a lantern, and when 3 or more of these symbols appear anywhere on the reels, the scatter icons will award a free spins bonus game. The first task you have to accomplish in this bonus round is to choose one lantern out of a total of six. That will determine how many free spins you will get to play with in the bonus game. Between 4 and 7 free spins are granted to players. You can then pick one out of six coins, to determine what multiplier you are going to get added to your free spin bonus round winnings. Multipliers vary from 3x up to 6x.
