CASTLE MANIA

About Castle Mania

Castle Mania is a video slot developed by Stakelogic that has five reels, three rows, and 20 paylines. It is medieval-themed, featuring items and characters from that age. The background depicts a giant castle in ruins while a horrified jester donning battle gear stands off to the side. The soundtrack is in line with the battle scenes. The well-crafted themed symbols include an ancient king, a knight, a jester, a book, castle's door, theatrical masks, a chalice and grapes, and crossed swords with a shield.

The coin betting range spans from 0.01 up to 1, and players can stake five coins per line. The minimum requirement for earning payouts is three matching symbols running from the left on an active payline. The jester is the highest paying standard symbol earning the player 2500 coins for five symbols and 250 coins for four symbols.

Special Features

Castle Mania has a parade of exciting features, including three special symbols that players should be keen to find, a free spins feature, and a bonus game. The slot’s wild symbol is the purple dragon that appears only on the third reel with the possibility of becoming an expanding wild to take up all positions in the reel. It replaces all other icons bar the scatter symbol to create a winning combination on an active payline. The castle's door icon is the scatter symbol that activates free spins, while the knight is another special symbol that triggers a bonus game and appears on the first, third, and fifth reel.

Bonus Feature

When a player lands on a minimum of three castle door scatter symbols, the free spins feature is activated. The player is awarded ten free spins for three scatter symbols, 15 free spins for four symbols, and 25 for five. All icons are changed into new images during the free spins feature. A wheel, playing cards, and marbles become the paying scatter symbols. The regular paying free spins icons include a banjo, happy and sad masks, a tambourine, and a rabbit in a magician's hat. The free spins feature is re-triggered if the player lands on three or more jester icons. The player gets 10, 15, or 25 additional free spins for three, four, or five jester icons, respectively.

A bonus game is initiated when three knight symbols appear on the screen. The game presents the players with different icons to choose from. Each click on a symbol reveals the player's winning prize. The game ends when the 'collect' symbol appears.
