CANDY COTTAGE

About Candy Cottage

Rival Gaming’s simply developed Candy Cottage slot is a bit of a take on the whole Hansel and Gretel fairy-tale. Present on the reels of this slot machine game are a host of your favourite sweeties, as well as a basket of bread, a lucky goose, two kiddies, and a warty old witch. It’s all very predictable, and yet colourful and entertaining stuff from Rival. Candy Cottage is played over a total of 5 reels and 20 paylines. Players can adjust those paylines as they see fit. They can also opt to wager coin values which range from 0.01 up to 0.25 per coin, as well as bet up to 10 coins per line. At its cheapest, Candy Cottage will set players back just 0.01 per line per spin. At its costliest, players can expect to be able to wager up to 50.00 per spin on this slot. With a good run of form, you can hope to win as much as a non-progressive 2,500 coins in this slot. Players need to line up 5 witches on a payline to bag that prize.

Special Features

It is important to note that the witch can also be a wild symbol, but only on the third reel of the slot. All witches appearing on the third reel will not only turn into wilds, but also expand to occupy the whole reel.

Keep your eyes peeled for the gingerbread house. This symbol is a free spin triggering bonus icon. Land 3 or more of them on the reels during any spin and you will trigger a free spins bonus.
Cage symbols can trigger a secondary bonus round when players land 3 or more of them anywhere on the reels during a single spin.

Bonus Features

There is nothing overly complex about this slot’s free spins bonus round. A total of 10 free spins are afforded to the player, with all winnings being subject to a 3x multiplier. Unfortunately, the free spins bonus round cannot be retriggered.

In the secondary bonus round, players can move the Hansel and Gretel lookalikes across the screen from left to right. The idea is that you should try and eat as much of the candy which appears on the screen as possible. The more candy that you eat, the larger the instant win cash prize you will pocket. The bonus ends when the old witch locks you in her cage and takes you away in this quirky and zany slot machine game.
