About Beetlejuice

Beetlejuice is a fun, and immersive slot developed and published by WMS and has plenty of great features that are sure to keep you entertained! The slot’s layout is a six-by-nine grid and played on a horizontal screen. There are nine reels, a betting range of 0.20 - 500, and an RTP of 96%. As the name suggests, the slot is influenced by the movie of the same name, Beetlejuice. Very similar to the original 1988 movie, Beetlejuice has returned, and he is here to help Adam and Barbara Maitland by haunting the new family that has moved into their house. Many of the symbols include the main characters from the film. The Maitland family are present, and so are sandworms, Beetlejuice himself, Otho, Lydia, and her parents. 

Special Features

There are some zany symbols and animations separate from the bonus games. These include Juno, the Maitland’s caseworker, the dead receptionist, and the shrunken head man. Such events are triggered when you manage to get a perfect alignment character across the 3 reels. You also have the chance to trigger Beetlejuice’s teeth to appear as well as the Maitland Ghost Polaroid pictures. The main objective is to pair up 3 of the bright Beetlejuice symbols. You can do this anywhere on the reels, and upon successfully doing so, you will trigger the bonus rounds. 

Bonus Features

The first bonus feature is the cemetery bonus. This feature is based on the ‘handbook of the recently deceased’ from the movie. When you unlock this feature, you will select handbooks. Some of them award you with dollar symbols, but others reveal a Beetlejuice picture. If you select enough dollar symbols, you will advance to the next level for a higher pay-out. 

Another bonus feature is Lydia’s free spins which can be very lucrative. During the free spin game, you have the chance to gain anywhere from 3 to 23 wild symbols on the reels. Lydia will appear on the top screen dancing in mid-air to the song ‘’Jump in the line’’. As she is dancing, she will also be firing wilds. After a period, she will disappear. Naturally, if she stays on the screen longer, then you can expect to receive more wilds. Lastly, you can gain a multiplier of up to 10x on any spin.
