About Art Bandits Video Slot

This is a simply awesome video slot from the Oryx Gaming stable. It makes use of Art Thieves as a theme and is brilliantly interactive. It is a five reel, fifteen pay-line slot with a top in game prize of 5000 coins.

Special Features

This wonderful video slot opens up to set the scene in Paris with images of the Eiffel Tower, Louvre and Palace of Versailles. The designers have made use of 3D, High Definition graphics which place this game in line with some of the top slots choices available today. Ambient sounds are exciting music that works incredibly well with the theme.

The Art Bandits are three cute, but serious looking critters – a rabbit, a fox, and a racoon who are decked out in black leather outfits, and are all three wild. These wilds stack in all reels as well as substitute for all other symbols except the scatter and bonus. The next icon is the stolen painting, Koala who is the art dealer they are stealing for, and the guard who is a dog in a guards uniform. Balance of icons are Ace, King, Queen, Jack, and ten which are made up from pieces of frame. When these are involved in winning combinations they fall off the wall, and a hand pushes them back into place again.

Players are able to key the user interface and choose the amount of lines they wish to play. Up to ten coins per line is allowed, and again the amount of coins per line may be decided by the player. A coin bet range of between 0.01, and 0.50 applies, for a maximum wager of 75.00.

Bonus Feature

We are taken to the desk of a security guard where art thieves are given their brief. The job looks simple – distract the guard, select the exhibit room, steal a painting and run! But how to distract the guard – with a stun bomb, ice bomb or gas bomb? This reviewer chose the ice bomb.

Next we see a floor plan of the Louvre loading, and we select a room. The art bandit enters the room hanging from a similar set up as that used by Tom Cruise in Mission Impossible, and steals the painting. This then reveals our free spins reward. If the bonus icon appears on the reels during free spins, and addition free spin is added into the game.

When this feature ends we find out that the art dealer did not approve of our choice, but we did win twenty-six free spins after re-triggers and,€390.00 from a €25.00 bet.
