About Deal or No Deal
If you’ve ever seen the hit Channel 4 television show starring Noel Edmonds, you’ll know all about Endemol’s instant win game, Deal or No Deal. This instant win game is designed just like the TV show, and it is hugely entertaining. The idea behind this game is to pick a box, guess and win. Deal or No Deal contains the actual music from the show, and is thrilling for anybody that has ever wanted to be a part of the popular series.
How to play
Just like in the television show, the player starts out by picking a lucky box. Most gamers go for their lucky number, but it is entirely up to you really. Once you have picked your lucky box, that box will be saved for you. You will then be asked to pick six boxes, one by one. If you want to speed up this process, you can click on the quick pick button, to have six boxes selected at random. These boxes will then be opened up and the prizes they contain will be eliminated from the board (pay-table).
After your first six boxes, the “banker” will make you an offer. You can either accept his offer and quit the game with it (deal), or refuse it (no deal) and play on. If you play on, you must then pick another 5 boxes, of which the prizes will again be taken off the board. Again the banker will make you an offer. Provided that you haven’t dealt, another 5 boxes must be picked, and more offers will be incoming. Four more boxes are followed by an offer, and another four boxes are followed by a final offer. After the final offer, the player’s box and the single remaining box are opened. You will win whatever is inside your box if you haven’t dealt.
Wagering and prizes
The amount that is displayed on the board depends on how much you wager. The minimum stake in Deal or No Deal is fixed at 0.50. At its most expensive, the game can cost you 1,000.00 per go.
With the minimum wager, players can win anything from 0.01 up to 5.00. On the maximum wager, prizes of 20.00 up to 10,000.00 are available.
Final thoughts
Deal or No Deal is one of the few gambling games where players are guaranteed to win something. Even if it is only a fraction of what you staked. There aren’t too many games that can boast of that.
