About Fa Cai Shen

Fa Cai Shen is one of Habanero Systems’ oriental themed video slots, and it features 5 reels and 28 paylines of imagery which is fitting to that. Fa Cai Shen is pretty basic in terms of graphics, but graphics aren’t everything in the online slot word. What this video slot does do is allow you to choose coin values of 0.01 up to 5.00 in total, and choose how many of the 28 paylines you wish to play with. You can also choose from 10 betting levels, which will see your minimum bet fall as low as 0.01 per line per spin, whilst your maximum bet could cost you as much as 1,400 coins per spin. You will notice that above the reels is a jackpot bar – it is in this jackpot bar that your total available cash prize will be displayed. Whatever is displayed in that bar (based on your bet, of course) is what you can win when playing Fa Cai Shen.

Special Features

Fa Cai Shen himself acts as a substitute symbol in this game, and when this symbol appears on the first, third, and fifth reels. Substitute symbols can replace all other icons on the slot, save for the scattered golden ingot icons. Any wins which feature wilds will have their value tripled in this game. Wild symbols can also expand to cover entire reels when they appear in winning combinations. This makes those wild symbols more useful than you will find in many other Habanero slots.

Scatter symbols are also present in this slot, and they take on the form of the golden ingot icon. Golden ingot scatters will multiply your total bet when they appear 3, 4, or 5 times anywhere on the reels. You can pocket wins worth 1x, 10x, or 100x your total stake, respectively.

This slot’s progressive jackpot is won entirely at random, so there is nothing you can do to trigger this feature. If luck is on your side, you will win it. Of course, wagering larger sums of cash than normal does give you your best shot of doing that.

Bonus Feature

Scatter symbols in this game are also capable of triggering a free spins bonus round. Land 3 or more scatter icons to trigger 12 free games in total. During the free spins bonus round, players will also get to prosper from an added wild feature. Wilds can appear twice on the reels on every spin, but they won’t appear on adjacent reels. Unfortunately, the free spins bonus round cannot be retriggered.
