Responsible Gambling
All the games on FreeCasinoGames.net are free to play. You never bet real money here, and you don't need to sign up. We also review online casinos where people do play for real money, so we want to be clear about how to keep gambling safe.
Real-money gambling is only for adults: you must be 18 or older, or the legal gambling age where you live if that is higher (19 in most Canadian provinces, 21 in many US states).
Keep it fun
- Treat it as paid entertainment, not a way to make money. Casino games have a house edge, so over time the casino wins. Only gamble money you can afford to lose.
- Set a budget and a time limit before you start, and stop when you reach either one.
- Never chase your losses. Trying to win back what you have lost usually means losing more.
- Don't gamble when you are upset, stressed, lonely or drinking.
- Don't borrow money to gamble, and keep gambling money apart from money for bills and essentials.
- Take regular breaks, and balance gambling with other things you enjoy.
Practising with our free games is a good way to learn the rules, but free play is not a guide to real-money results: no strategy changes the house edge.
Warning signs
Gambling may be becoming a problem if you:
- spend more money or time than you meant to, or find it hard to stop;
- chase losses, or gamble to escape problems or difficult feelings;
- borrow money, sell things or miss bills because of gambling;
- hide your gambling or lie about it to family and friends;
- feel anxious, irritable or low when you aren't gambling;
- neglect work, study or the people close to you.
If any of these sound familiar, it is a good time to take a break and talk to someone. Help is free and confidential.
Tools that help you stay in control
Licensed online casinos offer tools you can set in your account:
- Deposit, loss and wager limits for a day, week or month;
- Session time limits and reality checks that remind you how long you have been playing;
- Time-outs that lock your account for a short break;
- Self-exclusion, which closes your account for months or years.
In the UK, GAMSTOP is a free scheme that blocks your access to gambling websites and apps licensed in Great Britain in one step. Many other countries have their own national self-exclusion registers. Blocking software on your phone and computer can add another layer.

Protecting children
Gambling sites are for adults only. If children use your devices, turn on the parental controls in your phone, computer or browser, keep your casino log-ins private, and don't save payment details on shared devices.
How we help
Our casino reviews flag blacklisted casinos and casinos with a warning (see Casino Warnings), and How We Rank Online Casinos explains how we rate them. We only want to send players to casinos that treat them fairly, and we would rather you didn't play at all than play more than you can afford.
