About Double Joker Video Poker

Double Joker is a very basic, very simple video poker game, which has been developed by Rival Gaming. Most popular in the US market, this gambling game is designed to be played with the US Dollar, and features a standard feel to it. Graphically, it isn’t much to write home about, but how does it compare to other video poker games when it is played?

How to play

Firstly, this slot feature jokers as wilds, and this is where the game gets its name from. These wildcards can replace all other cards in the game, so they can help you to win poker hands. Unlike other wild video poker games which feature wilds, players don’t have to bag at least a Three of a Kind to win in this game, since a Two Pair is enough. That really works in this game’s favour.

This game is played like almost all other video poker games. Players can select their bets, and they will receive 5 cards. There is no dealer or other player to compete against. You must simply build the best hand you can.

After getting your first five cards, you can choose which to keep, and which to discard. You’ll then be given 5 new ones to form your final poker hand.

Wagering and prizes

Players can choose coin sizes of 0.05 up to 5.00 in total in this game. This will allow them to wager anything from a total of 0.05 per hand, up to 25.00 per hand. This is because they can actually wager up to 5 coins per hand.

Players can win with a Two Pair, Three of a Kind, Straight, Flush, Full House, Four of a Kind, Straight Flush, Five of a Kind, Joker Royal Flush, or Natural Royal Flush in this game. The latter could see them win as much as 4,000 coins if they are fortunate enough to land one. It won’t be easy, though.

Final thoughts

There is a lot to like about Double Joker Video Poker. Graphically, it is a bit of a sham. However, from a gameplay perspective, it is fair, and encouraging. Most players will be quite content with that.
