Pontoon is simply a derivative of blackjack. As a variant of the popular card game, it shares a number of similarities with it as well as a bunch of differences. Two variants of Blackjack go by the pontoon name. These are slight alterations of regular blackjack popular two countries: Australia and Britain (and go by that identification). The Australian variant shares some similarities with Spanish 21 blackjack. On the other hand, British Pontoon tilts more towards regular blackjack. Just like in Spanish 21, you won’t find any tens when you play Australian pontoon. Both variants of pontoon can be played online. While the Australian variant aligns with Spanish 21, British pontoon comes with fifty two decks. The gameplay goes in the same accord as traditional blackjack, meaning the premise remains the same: to beat the dealer. However, its lower house edge and special rules makes it one of the most preferred variations of the game.

Bonus Feature

To win the super bonus, a punter must have three 7s (7, 7, 7) of the same suit in the case where the dealer’s first card is any seven. The payout is as follows: one thousand dollars if your original wager is between five and twenty four dollars; five thousand dollars if your wager is twenty five dollars or greater. Interestingly, other punters who placed wagers on the round of play in which a super bonus winner emerged will be entitled to a bonus payment of fifty dollars.
