About 3 Card Poker Gold
This is the same basic game of 3 card poker you may already be familiar with, but the software developer, Microgaming, has tried to design it in a very elegant way. You will still be playing the same rules of 3 card poker, with its choice of two games you can play and choice of the amount you want to bet. But you should feel like you're playing the game in a very classy setting on top of an expensive table.
Microgaming has another “Gold” version of the game which offers multiple hands. But this is the classical version in which you will be dealt just one hand, though you can bet either or both the Ante or “Pairs Plus” wagers.
Special Features
Microgaming has designed this game with bright colours and enjoyable background music that creates a realistic environment. You'll feel like you're playing the game in a very sophisticated, elegant card club or casino.
As per the usual rules, you begin by making a choice of bet or bets you want to make plus the size of each bet. Then the game will begin as you are dealt three cards face up while the dealer receives three cards face down.
However, the dealer's three cards may never be seen. If the player's only bet was an Ante bet, he has to decide after he sees his first three cards if he wants to continue. If he does, he must then make a “Play” bet which is the same size as his Ante bet.
The house cards are then turned over. The Dealer must have a qualifying hand of at least a Queen high. If he does not, the player's Play bet is returned and his Ante bet is paid off at even money. If the Dealer does have a qualifying hand, then his hand is compared to the player. If the player wins, he is paid even money on both his Ante and Play bets. He may also receive a bonus payment if he has one of the three best hands in the game., a Straight Flush, a Flush or Three-of-a-kind.
Those bonus payments are made even if the player does not beat the Dealer.
Special Bonus Features
The Pairs Plus operates independently of the Ante bet. You can win your Pairs Plus bet no matter what happened with your Ante bet or even if you made one, The Pairs Plus bet has several different payoffs for all hands that are at least a Pair. The better your hand, the better your payoffs.
