TRUE ILLUSIONS

About True Illusions Slot

One only has to look at the name of this game to tell that this online video slot from Betsoft, has a magic, or illusionist theme. It is a non-progressive game, with five reels, and thirty pay-lines to cover. This is a high quality 3D slot, with an in game top prize of 2500 coins, but a great deal more than just that on offer.

Special Features

True Illusions downloads to the scene of a man working his magic on a female assistant who appears to be levitating. She plays one of the highest paying icons. Other icons include a fancy chest, guillotine, magic coin, dove, crystal ball, magic top hat (a rabbit us pulled out of this), and handkerchief in hand.

A “Wild” icon simply says Wild, and is wild for most icons barring the cards and illusionist. This writer hit the wild game on the second spin of the reels. A curtain comes down over the reels, and a magic box is pushed onto the stage. The beautiful assistant enters, he sticks swords into the box, shows the audience that it is empty, then locks it up in chains. This locks wilds for the next series of spins (up to seven), until the wilds unlock and the game returns to the same icons.

The illusionist stands to the left of the screen, and keeps us entertained with tricks while we play. He also appears to be magically encouraging the reels to be winners. All icons animate when winning combinations are made, graphics are good, and ambient sounds are in with theme.

There is a coin betting range of between 0.02, and 1.00, with up to five coins per line allowed. The player may also decide for themselves how many lines they would like to play.  We suggest playing all thirty, even if this means placing a lower wager. Big winning combinations see banknotes flying out of the screen.

Bonus Features

When three or more illusionists appear anywhere on the reels, this triggers the free spins feature. During this time the reels cascade, making room for more icons and hopefully more winning combinations. I’m afraid it is no more exciting than that. A “Pick a Card – Any Card” bonus round, is what it says it is, and three or more card icons landing on the reels triggers this. Let’s hope you pick the right card to win instant credits, this writer obviously picked wisely because we won over 5000 credits.
