About Thumbelina’s Dream

Thumbelina’s Dream shouldn’t need too much of an introduction in terms of its theme. It is, of course, based on the children’s tale of the pint-sized fairy. Thumbelina’s Dream has been designed and developed by EGT, and many of its features are quintessentially found in other slots from this provider. Players will note that there are 6 reels and 225 paylines (a rather bizarre number) on the reels of the slot. Wagers aren’t that flexible in the game, with stakes ranging from a base minimum of 0.50 per spin up to a capped maximum of 100.00 a game on this title. Like most EGT slots, this one is a progressive jackpot game, although the prizes seldom tend to be too extravagant.

Special Features

Wild symbols do appear in the game, and they show up as Thumbelina herself. Wild symbols can appear on just the second and fifth reels and can offer wins worth between 2 coins and 250 coins. They can expand sideways on the reels, so they can occupy the second, third, fourth, fifth and sixth reels at times, and they can replace all other symbols barring scatters.

The scatter icons appear as a green-clothed fairy. These symbols can show up on the fourth, fifth and sixth reels and you’ll need them to appear on all 3 at once if you wish to trigger the slot’s free spin bonus, as well as pocket 50 coins as an instant scatter prize.

A gamble feature has also been included in the game and can be triggered following any win. A simple card game can double your win if you guess red or black correctly. As for the progressive jackpots, they are won at random. Players will get to pick from a serious of playing card symbols to win either the diamonds, clubs, spades or hearts progressive jackpots. Each is worth varying cash prizes, which are visible above the reels.

Bonus Feature

Free spins are offered via the green-fairy scatters as mentioned. In all, players can land a total of 10 free spins with these symbols. During the bonus round, every additional scatter which appears will add one more free spins to your tally. During free spins, an alternative set of reels is used, and the feature cannot be retriggered, save for adding new free spins to your tally with those scatters, as stated.
