About Coral Island

Coral Island is an EGT developed slot machine game, and not one of the best we’ve ever seen if we’re being honest. It contains the same progressive prizes as other EGT slots, and these are triggered in the most ridiculous way. However, aside from that, there isn’t much to write home about in terms of graphics, theme or features, either. Coral Island is largely a dull and boring slot (and has very little to do with coral), with players wagering between 0.10 per spin and 200.00 a game on this 5-reel, 10-line slot machine. Players can win a non-progressive jackpot of 10,000 coins if 5 dolphins appear on a line, or they can win one of four progressive prizes at random, via the Mystery Jackpot bonus, which sees them required to land playing card symbols to win a prize.

Special Features

The gameplay in this slot is not brilliant by any stretch of the imagination. Wild symbols appear as dolphins (also the non-progressive prize symbols) and these can not only dish out 10,000-coin wins but also substitute for all other icons in the game save for scatters. Any wins which are formed with wild symbols (save for the jackpot combo) will be doubled.

Scatters appear as coral islands, and these can dish out cash prizes worth half as much as the non-progressive jackpot if 2, 3, 4 or 5 of them appear anywhere on the reels during a single base game spin. It is worth pointing out that landing 3 or more scatters also offers a free spin bonus in this game.

A gamble feature has been included in this game, and it can be triggered by landing a win. Players can choose from red or black playing card to double their winnings if they guess correctly. Guess incorrectly and they will lose the lot. Players can only win up to 350 coins with this feature, though.

Bonus Feature

In the free spin bonus round, players will start with a total of 15 free spins. However, they can bag 3x multipliers on all their wins, tripling their value. If the player retriggers the feature (with further scatters) they will get another 15 free spins.
