About Scary Rich 2

Scary Rich 2 is the sequel to Rival Gaming’s impressive Scary Rich slot, and the second in the three-part franchise. The game contains a simple 5-reel, 20-line gaming platform like most other Rival Gaming slots, and unlike the previous game – which was more Halloween inspired – this one is murder inspired. Scary Rich 2 is much more the stuff of nightmares, but it does allow players total control over wagering. Paylines are adjustable, coin values range from 0.01 up to 0.05, and up to 10 coins per line can be wagered in this game. Expect to find minimum and maximum wagers ranging from 0.01 per line per spin, up to 10.00 per spin in total. This will see players able to compete to win a scarily high non-progressive jackpot which is valued at 10,000 coins.

Special Features

Jackpot prizes are paid out via wild symbols, and these icons can see players able to substitute for all other symbols in the game, barring special icons. Wilds can add 3x multiplier to any winning combinations in which two appear. They can also add 6x and 13x multipliers when they appear 3 or 4 times in a winning combination. Obviously, players won’t pocket a multiplier for landing 5 wilds, since that combination offers up the jackpot.

Free spins are triggered via the wolfman symbols. These scatter icons can trigger a free spins bonus which consists of 13 free spins in all.

Bonus rounds

Once the free spins bonus begins in Scary Rich 2, you will get to start playing with a total of 13 free spins. During these free spins, wild symbols are capable of expanding to occupy whole reels. These symbols can then offer 3x multipliers on any wins in which they appear. Unlike the base game, wild multipliers do not increase the more wilds you get. That is a rather disappointing aspect to this free spin bonus round. More to the point, wilds can only appear on the first three reels of the free spins bonus round.

It is rather frustrating that the wilds suddenly no longer serve the same purposes, and actually get worse during the free spins bonus round. This is something of a nightmare. It will – in effect – leave players not really wishing to trigger the free spins bonus round as often as they might normally want to. Why play the free spins bonus, when wins are worth more in the base game?
