About Joker Gems

Joker Gems is ELK Studios’ take on simple gemstone-themed slot gameplay. The slot doesn’t look the tidiest in terms of how the reels are centred, the graphics which appear or its mobile betting buttons, but not every game can be perfect. Players will note that Joker Gems carries three non-progressive jackpots which are worth 10,000, 20,000 and 50,000 credits in total. There are no paylines present in this game, with players, therefore, required to land wins by grouping together symbols on the reels. Wagers stretch from 0.20 per spin up to 100.00 a spin in total, which is fair enough given what you can win.

Special Features

There are more than a few symbols on the reels of this game. Green, orange, blue and red gemstones can see you land wins which range up to 1,000 coins in all when you land anything from 3 to 16 or more of them on the grid. Bar stones, sevens and jesters are worth substantially more.

On any spin in the game, a Light Chaser feature may be triggered at random. When it is, a cluster of 4 to 5 identical symbols will result in a guaranteed win being paid out to players.

As for the jackpots, they can only be won one way. If the player fills the 3x3 grid in the centre of the screen with the same identical symbols, they will win the 10,000-coin jackpot. If they fill the edges of the screen with the same icons, they will walk away with the 20,000-coin jackpot. However, if players can fill the entire screen (every single spot) with the same icons, then they can expect to win the top prize, which is worth 50,000 coins.

Bonus Feature

No bonus rounds have been included in Joker Gems. This remains a basic and elementary slot, and the lack of features comes as something of a surprise. Most ELK Studios developed games contain at least one special bonus. The Light Chaser feature really is all you’re going to get. Whether this puts players off giving Joker Gems a run for its money remains to be seen.
