HOLMES AND THE STOLEN STONE

About Holmes and the Stolen Stone

Yggdrasil Gaming’s Holmes and the Stolen Stone shouldn’t need any real introduction. This game is, of course, a Sherlock Holmes, mystery-themed slot. Most notably, this game contains a handful of rapidly growing progressive jackpot prizes which are up for grabs. Yggdrasil progressives are rare, and although this game isn’t exactly out-of-this-world, the temptation to try this out may just be alluring to you. Holmes and Stolen Stone features 5 reels and 20 non-adjustable paylines on its reels. Players can select coin values which range from 0.01 up to 2.00 in total, and that, in turn, will alter your total bet from a floor of 0.20 per spin, up to a ceiling of 40.00 a pop. Players will also note that there is a non-progressive jackpot worth 10,000 coins as well as the progressives. To win that, players need to pocket 5 free spin or bonus icons anywhere on the reels.

Special Features

Players who land 3 or more of the bonus icons (keyholes) will trigger a bonus round in this slot. In this feature, players can select from various icons to reveal a bag of coins (instant cash prize) or the coloured diamond shards. If players locate smoke bombs, the bonus ends. Diamond shards are added to your tally.

No matter which stage of the game they are in (the base game, instant win bonus or free spins bonus), players are going to want to collect diamond shards. These different coloured shards are added above the reels, to the various diamonds. Once a diamond has been completed, the player will pocket the progressive jackpot cash prize which relates to that completed diamond colour.

Bonus Feature

Landing 3 or more free spin keyholes will trigger the free spin bonus round. In the bonus round, players can pocket a total of 10 free spins, with all winnings tripled courtesy of a 3x multiplier. The free spins bonus round can also be triggered by completing diamonds, which means it’s a doubly-sweet victory for players. Not only will they land a progressive prize, they will also get a few free spins to add to their winnings to boot.
