DESTINY OF ATHENA

About Destiny of Athena

Konami are the developers behind the Destiny of Athena slot. As its title suggests, there is a Greek mythology theme running throughout this game. As is often the case with Konami slots, the Action Stacked Symbols feature plays a part in helping players to land wins. Those wins, with a bit of luck, could be worth as much as 125x your total stake if you can land 5 Athena icons on a line. There are just 30 fixed lines in this 5-reel slot, and wagers aren’t terribly flexible. Coin denominations range from 0.01 up to 5.00, and you can bet up to 50 of those per line. Wagers, therefore, flex from 0.30 per spin up to a mind-boggling 11,250.00 per spin in all on this slot.

Special Features

The silver owl symbols are highly valuable in this slot. These icons appear as bonus triggering icons, and they can offer either a free spin or super free spin feature if 3 are landed on the reels in any position. Scatters can also substitute for other symbols in the game (save for wilds). This handy little feature can see them contribute to a win when they appear on the second, third and fourth reels of the slot, then.

A standard wild symbol also pops up in this game, and it is not difficult to spot it. Appearing as a bronze frame with a purple backdrop and the word “wild” written inside it, these symbols can substitute for all others (barring scatters) and can appear on the second, third, fourth and fifth reels. Wild symbols do not offer cash prizes on their own.

Bonus Feature

Players who landed silver owls on the reels will either get to pick one of the owls to learn how many free spins they are going to get to play with. Players will bag at least 8 free spins, but players can happen upon further goodies with those owl symbols. The standard free spin bonus (if this is chosen) offers 8 free spins with multipliers including 2x, 3x, 5x or 20x the standard rate of pay. If you unlock the super spins bonus instead, it promises 8 super spins with multipliers including 10x, 15x, 25x or a hefty 100x the standard prize rate. You can retrigger either bonus by landing 3 more scatters on the reels while the bonus is being played.
