About Cyrus the Virus

Cyrus the Virus is a pretty creative new slot, which has been released by Yggdrasil. The Scandinavian online casino software providers have made a stomach churning virus themed video slot, and as is always the case with this developer, simplicity is best. You can’t really get simpler than a virus, can you? The slot is played of 5 reels, with just 10 paylines to win on present in the game. Wagering will be dirt cheap in this slot, with coin denominations of 0.01 up to 4.00 available to bet per line. At its cheapest then, Cyrus the Virus is only going to cost you 0.10 per spin, whilst it will never cost you more than 40.00 per spin.

Special Features

Cyrus is a big purple monster virus, and when it appears it can substitute itself for all other icons. It does not offer winnings of its own, though. The wild symbol is perfectly capable of landing on the third reel, too. When it does, will expand to cover the entire reel. Doing so will trigger a free re-spin, through which the player stands a better chance of winning.

There are 10 paylines in this slot, though only five run from left to right. The other five actual run from right to left, meaning that it is actually possible to win both ways in the Cyrus the Virus video slot.

Players are going to want to locate the four-eyed, three-tooted blue virus in this slot. This is Cyrus the Virus’ best paying icon, and when 5 are lined up along any payline, the player can win as much as 2,000 coins via the non-progressive jackpot.

There aren’t really any other special features in this slot.

Final thoughts

Cyrus the Virus actually contains very few special features, and that isn’t going to please everybody in the online casino slot gaming world. Nonetheless, wagering is cheap as we have said, and you do seem to get value for money out of this game. Players will be hoping to land those expanding wilds as often as possible, since they really do boost wins. In conclusion, Cyrus the Virus has some pretty decent special features, though it is far too simple for some of the big experienced slot gamers to enjoy. It is, however, prefect for amateurs and first time slot players to try out, due to its simplicity.
