BONUS BEARS

About Bonus Bears

Bonus Bears is loosely themed on the Teddy Bears Picnic nursery rhyme, and it shows. You’ll find a host of North American wildlife on the reels, but a picnic basket symbol is the giveaway. It adds a nice touch when many other bear-themed slots focus on realism. The Bonus Bears slot has been developed by Playtech, so we already know that it is fair and trusted from that fact alone. The slot itself features five reels and twenty-five lines, with bets costing anything from 0.01 (per line) up to 1,250.00 a spin. This makes Bonus Bears ideal for high rollers as well as conventional mid to low rolling players. Prizes in the game can rise to 5,000x your bet, but the RTP rate does barely scrape into the 95% mark, at 95.17% in total.

Special Features

What you really want in Bonus Bears is an array of symbols to help you land wins. First up, there is a wild bear. This symbol can only pop up on the second to fourth reels, but it can replace all other symbols, save for beehive icons.

Those beehive symbols have the power to activate a bonus feature if three or more should appear at any time. They also count as scatter icons, so expect a fair cash prize to roll out if you land them. Oddly enough, scatters don’t trigger bonuses in this game. Instead, you will simply net an instant cash prize.

Now, back to the wilds. While scatters don’t trigger bonus rounds in this slot, the wild symbols do. You’ll need three wild bears to land on all three of the reels it can appear on to trigger a free spin bonus in this game. Surprisingly, that is a lot harder than it sounds, and there is a case for saying that scatters would be more likely to appear than wilds here.

Bonus Feature

Once triggered (with those elusive wilds), Bonus Bears’ free spin bonus will provide you with fifteen free spins. During this round, any winnings you happen to land will be multiplied by 3x the rate of pay. This allows you to pocket some sizeable winnings, and the feature is arguably the best way to do that in Bonus Bears. You can also retrigger the round to potentially prolong the good times by landing three or more wilds on the reels during the feature.
