About Age of Gods Norse: King of Asgard

Age of Gods Norse is a slot series that does things a little different from Playtech’s traditional Age of Gods slots. Not only are these games themed on Norse mythology, as opposed to the Greek Pantheon of gods, the games carry a different set of progressives. Age of Gods Norse: King of Asgard is themed on Odin but also features the much-loved Loki. The slot features 6 reels and 50 lines. Despite this, it is playable for as little as 0.10 per spin, up to 20.00 a turn. A game with a fair RTP of 96.1%, the Age of Gods Norse: King of Asgard slot is not as highly volatile as some titles in this series. Alongside its top jackpot prizes, it also carries a decent non-progressive win worth 400x a bet.

Special Features

There are two wilds worth mentioning here. Loki and Odin both appear as wilds and stacked wilds to boot. It is worth noting that while Loki can appear on six reels, Odin cannot appear on the first reel. These can substitute for any standard paying symbols in the game, as you would expect.

To win something sizable, you are going to need to trigger the jackpot bonus round. This is done at random. If you have played the original Age of Gods slots, you are in for a treat here, as Age of Gods Norse: King of Asgard’s jackpot worth differently. The Ultimate Jackpot prize starts at 100,000 credits and works in the same way as it does in the Age of Gods slots. However, the Extra and Daily jackpots pay out before the amount won and the time shown, respectively.

Bonus Feature

The main reason you are going to want to play this game is the Odin’s Fury re-spins round. This is done if Odin appears stacked on reels two to six. Just a single reel will do it. Once activated, Odin will walk across the reels one reel at a time (to the leftmost reel). As he does so, re-spins will be granted. Every re-spin you get will see an increasing multiplier rise by 1x. If Loki pops up to the left of Odin, he will shove Odin away by one reel. Naturally, this prolongs the bonus round because once Odin reaches the first reel, the re-spin round comes to an end.
