About Age of Gods Norse: Gods and Giants

After years of developing Greek mythology themed titles for their Ages of Gods series, Playtech moved on with Age of Gods Norse. One of the first titles to debut in this spin-off series is the Age of Gods Norse: Gods and Giants slot. It heavily features leading Norse deities Odin and Thor, as well as others. The change of direction allows Playtech to introduce new features into the mix, and we will come to those in turn. Let us start by saying that Age of Gods Norse: Gods and Giants is a 5-reel, 50-line game that is going to set you back between 0.20 and 300.00 a turn. That is remarkably cheap for a slot that can dish out four randomly triggered progressive jackpot prizes, as well as non-progressive wins valued at up to 1,000x a bet. With an RTP of 96.49% and highly volatile gameplay, Age of Gods Norse: Gods and Giants offers something different to fans of the series.

Special Features

There are four bonus rounds to boost your chances of success in Age of Gods Norse: Gods and Giants. First up is a Giant Re-Spin round. Symbols can appear 3x3 in size and appear on the first three reels. If it does not form a part of a win, such a symbol will trigger a re-spin round. You could potentially land successive re-spins depending on the symbols which pop up on the screen.

Next up, we have a Power Nudge mode. If a colossal symbol appears partially on the three middle reels, alongside a stacked symbol covering the first reel, it kicks into gear. This may nudge the symbols on to the screen, allowing you a crack at pocketing a prize.

The third feature is, of course, the jackpot round. This is triggered at random and can see you win the Daily, Instant or Ultimate Jackpot prizes. The Daily prize is won before the indicated time elapses each day. The Instant Jackpot is won before the amount show is hit. The Ultimate Jackpot works in the same way as those prizes in the original Age of Gods series and starts at 100,000 credits.

Bonus Feature

The final feature here is a free spin round. You need full-sized scatters to appear on the three central reels. This offers you an initial eight free spins. During that bonus, all symbols which appear on the three innermost reels will be colossal symbols. Symbols appearing on the outer reels will be stacked. Only high paying icons can appear here, guaranteed decent wins. You can retrigger the round to potentially win an unlimited number of spins.
